MoodPanda’s Christmas present to you is finally here - and we’re letting you open it early! You can now update your Mood Diary and be part of the MoodPanda community on your Android device
This is a result of months of hard work by our small volunteer team, and we’re really happy (10) to be able to deliver it to you in time for Christmas!
It’s still beta/work-in-progress, so we’ll be fixing any gremlins as we find them. Please be patient during this process!

Android App Progress
Development of the MoodPanda Android App is going well, we still have some “ghost pandas” in the works that we need to scare off, but we’re getting there. Most major functionality is in, and we’ve done some live testing (which the more eagle eyed of you may have spotted!). We can’t wait to have some Androidy-Pandas on board!
For any Android programmers out there, Android’s cookie sync manager is our new mortal enemy! Who’d’ve thought the SDK and Eclipse IDE would be such a nightmare to work with, especially compared to iPhones Xcode IDE and SDK! Fingers crossed the App distribution process is more refined.
We’ll post more once we have a distribution date confirmed. We cannot wait!

We’re in the middle of a late night coding session, making massive progress on the MoodPanda Android App, and doing some re-jigging of the main website in preparation for the App!
Late night, lager and coding, can’t complain! Biggup to Dave B for his hard work tonight — legend!
It turns out that Android App coding is a pain in the ass compared to iPhone Objective C, and I’m surprised! We’ve come across SDK bugs, IDE Bugs and just mysterious errors, but we’re slowly getting there.
We really hope to get the Android App launched this month, depending on how many more weird Android bugs we come across!
